While I'm not particularly squeamish about eating meat beyond the beef, pork and poultry of the U.S. (I live in France, land of frog legs, after all), it does make me a little nervous to delve into something that could be rat. So, how would I tell a cuy from a rat? I never had a guinea pig growing up and I imagine that stripped of its cute fur and roasted on a spit, it wouldn't look all that different from a big rat. Any suggestions?
