» Travelsleuth - Peruvian Wines

We have enjoyed the wines of Chile and, more recently, Argentina in UK. The wine merchants' shelves are well stocked with them. I look forward to the day when we can perhaps sample Peruvian wines as well.

With just a few good labels, I wouldn't count on it anytime soon. However, Pisco, a fermented white grape brandy which is the spirit Peru is best known for is gaining popularity rapidly. So keep your eye out, as it might already be in yor local wine shop or specialty food store.
